Can't say, haven't checked.
It already depends on Kodi himself or the client. PRV TVLINK has nothing to do with it.

I am using 11.1.0 and updated the TVLink Client to 2.3.0 then rebooted.
But I cannot install the LibreElec repo Simple IPTV PVR v 20.6.1.1 (default)- I get a "IPTV Simple Client- Installation Failed" notification.

So I need to upgrade to 11.1.1 to install both TVLink PVR and IPTV Simple PVR?

Looks like the necessary code changes in 11.1.1 are not just in TVLink Client v 2.3.0 itself, so the dual Simple IPTV + TVLink PVR install is not backwards compatible in 11.1.0?

I myself did not try to put on the system 11.1.0. But in theory it should work.
You may be installing the IPTV Simple  client from the wrong repository. The repository of Kodi himself also has this client.

I actually used All Repositories menu to find Simple IPTV PVR since I couldn't find it in Kodi Repo- it is listed under LibreElec Repo.


Anyway, I can upgrade later to 11.1.1 once I am done with some other issues !

I tried loading PVR Simple IPTV again, on 11.1.0, and this time it installed !
So now both TVLink and Simple IPTV PVRs are listed under AE Addons.

A more interesting problem :

1. I used this addon, IPTV Merge, to create a playlist.m3u and epg.xml for the Plex Live addon, to be run under PVR IPTV Simple:

2. Instead these Plex Live channels playlist and epg showed up under PVR TVLink, along with 2 other playlists I am using with TVLink Server !
I started Plex Live channels from #201 to avoid duplicate channel numbers.

3. Under Kodi PVR & Live TV > General > PVR Client Addons menu, I can see the two PVRs listed in the Repo list.
But interestingly the Client specific settings menu below says there are no settings available for either PVR.
The Client priorities sub menu shows 0 and 0 for the PVRs.

4. I believe this is caused by the fact that PVR TVLink is based on PVR Simple IPTV...

5. So is there a way I could just used IPTV Merge playlist/epg under PVR Simple IPTV ?
For instance by renaming some file like pvr.simpleiptv or setting Client priorities in above?

A. I did see 2(higher)/1 priority set for Simple IPTV/TVLink in your earlier email re: fix for dual PVRs install, but I don't understand how to allocate channels.

B. I did try setting above priorities, rebooted AE; then re-ran IPTV Merge. Still under Kodi TV menu, only one PVR, TVLink, with all 3 playlists.
I rebooted again, and saw the top right circle notification about PVR TVLink loading, but under Kodi TV menu, same situation- no PVR Simple IPTV visible.

It does show PVR SimpleIPTV loading Plex Live 382 channels and 2 groups, but these appear in TVLink. TVLink shows loading 125 channels from 2 playlists in TVLink Server.
PVR Simple IPTV is not visible in Kodi TV menu.

Problem:

It seems that the LibreElec Repo (hosting PVRs) has been down from this AE 11.1.1 build for 18 hours since last night, EST time. "Could not connect to repo."

My WiFi is working, and clicking other Repos shows listed items, including for slyguy repo (IPTV Merge source) which was down temporarily, but was up again.

Is this an LE issue, or some AE issue?

Yes, usually dependency errors are caused by addon incompatibility. Lunatixz has posted an announcement about upcoming Nexus v.40, which hopefully will fix the problems!

But I don't seem to be able to launch Chrome...can it work in AE?

No. Chrome needs an X11 server to work. AE doesn't have X11.
